Haborside URL – Parking Garage Screens

The Harborside URL Parking Garage was originally designed with perforated metal screen walls and Terracotta baguettes.  Through a design assist process both the perforated metal and the Terracotta scopes were value engineered into a corrosion resistant alum clad prefabricated screen wall.  The Perforated alum panels were designed with a typical modules that were set off the structure and varying depths to give the surface articulation and movement.  The Terracotta baguettes became 3 sizes extruded alum poles with three colors of anodization which gives a warmth to the garage screen wall as it transitions away from the perforated alum under the tower of residential apartments.
