DPR and Jacobs ran a 12 month long Design Assist phase with an FEL pricing model to track the overall facade budget as the design progressed. The Facade Team of Josloff Glass and Jersey Panel were able to achieve the facade goals and offer a significant overall budget savings while holding the schedule.
The project was located on a very active Pharma research campus that required off-site construction to expedite the facade enclosure. The StoPanel system was design to exceed the ASHRAE code by 20% and to limit the amount of onsite welding a bolted curtainwall connection detail was engineered for the Sto panel system with upgraded framing to support less connections and large spans in the floor to floor height.
